These Terms and Conditions govern your use of Raven Outdoors guiding services. By engaging with our services, you agree to these terms.

Services

Raven Outdoors provides private backcountry ski and fly fishing guiding services in Central Hokkaido, Japan. All trips are inquiry-based and require direct communication to confirm availability, pricing, and trip details.

Services are provided on a private guiding basis. We do not offer group tours or open enrollment trips. All trips are customized based on conditions, client experience level, and preferences.

Booking and Payment

All bookings are made through direct inquiry via email or WhatsApp. Pricing, availability, and trip details will be confirmed through direct communication. Payment terms will be specified at the time of booking confirmation.

Cancellation and refund policies will be communicated at the time of booking and may vary based on trip type, timing, and circumstances.

Client Responsibilities

• Clients must accurately represent their experience level, fitness, and any relevant medical conditions
• Clients are responsible for bringing appropriate gear and equipment as specified during trip planning
• Clients must follow guide instructions and safety protocols at all times
• Clients must respect local regulations, environment, and cultural norms
• Clients acknowledge the inherent risks of backcountry skiing and fly fishing activities

Assumption of Risk

Backcountry skiing and fly fishing involve inherent risks including, but not limited to: avalanches, falls, weather hazards, river conditions, wildlife encounters, and remote location risks. By participating in our services, you acknowledge and assume these risks.

While we take safety seriously and provide experienced guidance, clients participate at their own risk. We recommend appropriate travel insurance that covers adventure activities.

Weather and Conditions

Trip plans may be modified or cancelled due to weather, snow conditions, water levels, or other safety concerns. We reserve the right to alter itineraries or cancel trips for safety reasons. In such cases, we will work with clients to reschedule or provide refunds as appropriate.

We cannot guarantee specific conditions, fish activity, or snow quality. Conditions vary and are beyond our control.

Liability

Raven Outdoors and its guides are not liable for personal injury, property damage, or other losses that may occur during guided trips. Clients participate voluntarily and assume all risks associated with backcountry skiing and fly fishing activities.

We recommend that all clients carry appropriate travel and medical insurance that covers adventure activities in remote locations.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
